Human Resources Manager – Australia

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across Australia. The role partners closely with local leadership while aligning with regional and global HR strategies to support rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR business partner, advising on organisational structure, workforce planning and talent development.
• Lead talent acquisition strategy, build pipelines and execute hiring across all functions.
• Implement performance management frameworks and drive employee development, succession planning and organisational effectiveness.
• Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with Australian labour regulations and fostering an inclusive culture.
• Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations including contracts, onboarding, policy administration and employee lifecycle management.
• Support compensation benchmarking, manage local benefits programmes and ensure competitive remuneration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of HR experience, preferably in automotive, manufacturing or a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and best practices.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic partner while remaining hands‑on.
• Experience building HR frameworks in a fast‑growing organisation.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international setting.
• Chinese language skills are a plus.
