Human Resources Generalist – ANZ

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will serve as a strategic partner for our Australasian operations, translating global HR strategies into practical solutions that drive business performance and sustainable growth. You will work across a diverse employee base, providing guidance on talent, workforce planning, employee engagement and culture initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement HR programs and policies in Australasia, including performance management, compensation reviews, talent reviews, training, and DE&I initiatives.
• Deliver high‑quality local employee services such as payroll implementation, onboarding, off‑boarding and employee data management.
• Partner with the Australasia HR Leader on talent reviews, calibration sessions and succession planning for critical roles.
• Collaborate with business leaders to create action plans that improve employee engagement based on survey results.
• Design and deliver capability development solutions to enhance team effectiveness and performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, attrition, conflict resolution and compliance with local labour laws.
• Support regional HR and business programs as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience as an HR Generalist, Business Partner or Advisor in a multinational environment, preferably within manufacturing, industrial or engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of local labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders.
