Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

An experienced HR Business Partner is needed to join a site‑based operational team in a fast‑paced, DIDO environment. Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will act as a trusted advisor to site leadership, delivering end‑to‑end generalist HR support with a strong focus on employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance management and dispute resolution.
• Provide clear, practical advice to leaders on ER matters to ensure fair and consistent outcomes.
• Coach and develop line managers to build capability, confidence and accountability in people leadership.
• Partner with site leadership to support a cultural reset and improve workforce behaviours.
• Identify risks and implement proactive strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
• Support broader HR initiatives aligned with operational and business priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
• Strong expertise in employee relations, capable of handling complex, high‑volume cases.
• Confident coach with influencing skills focused on uplifting leadership capability.
• Resilient, pragmatic and solutions‑focused approach.
• Experience in mining, construction or heavy industrial sectors (FIFO/DIDO experience preferred but not essential).
