Human Resources Advisor

About the role

The Human Resources Advisor partners with senior HR Business Partners and site leaders to support over 2,000 employees in a contract mining environment. You will act as a trusted advisor across the employee lifecycle, influencing performance, workforce planning, and organisational development.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with site leaders, understand operational needs and support HR Business Partners in workforce trend analysis.
• Provide practical employee‑relations advice, manage performance, disciplinary, investigation and PIP processes.
• Support annual performance reviews, leadership capability initiatives and organisational change activities such as site mobilisations and demobilisations.
• Develop and deliver workforce reports, analyse people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Assist with remuneration reviews, role benchmarking, market analysis and ensure compliance with industrial instruments.

Required profile

• Previous HR experience across the employee lifecycle, preferably in mining, resources, construction or manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes.
• Proven ability to partner with leaders in fast‑paced operational settings.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business or a related discipline (preferred).
