Human Resources Advisor

About the role

The Craig Mostyn Group is seeking a proactive Human Resources Advisor to join its People & Culture team at the Linley Valley Pork site in Wundowie. This generalist position supports a diverse, operationally focused workforce and partners closely with managers to deliver practical HR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely HR advice on workplace matters, policies, procedures and Australian employment legislation.
• Assist with policy development, review and implementation.
• Support disciplinary processes and documentation in line with company policy and legal requirements.
• Partner with the HR Business Partner on strategic initiatives and organisational change programs.
• Participate in HR projects aimed at improving employee experience and business outcomes.
• Analyse workforce data to inform decision‑making and workforce planning.
• Support managers with workforce management, organisational changes and restructuring activities.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Employment Relations or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a HR Advisor or similar generalist role.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters and providing advice to leaders.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
