Human Resource Officer

About the role

Enable Western Australia is expanding its Human Resource team and is looking for a proactive Human Resource Officer. You will support the HR Manager and contribute to a welcoming, person‑centred workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date HR databases and employee records.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, including credential verification.
• Coordinate training logistics and assist with performance‑management documentation.
• Provide guidance on employment conditions under the relevant industrial instrument.
• Assist in preparing contract variations and other HR documentation.
• Support the HR Manager with ad‑hoc projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• High proficiency with office systems and strong organisational skills.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Current National Police Clearance (issued within the past 6 months).
• Valid driver’s licence and primary COVID‑19 vaccination proof.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
• Experience using HR information systems or databases.
