HR/ER Coordinator Program

About the role

Peninsula, a market leader in HR, employment relations and health and safety advisory backed by a large privately owned business services group, is offering a permanent full-time HR/ER Coordinator position in Sydney. The role suits someone wanting to kick start an HR/ER career in a dynamic, fast-paced business, with globally recognised training and career pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, modify and review employment relations documents.
• Liaise directly with a diverse client base by telephone and email, advising clients on their current employment relations needs.
• Act as a trusted partner to clients, helping them understand and implement workplace regulations.
• Meet individual and team targets for customer satisfaction, productivity and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Ideally experience in HR admin roles or similar; candidates may come from leadership roles in fast-paced industries such as hospitality or retail, such as department or store managers, duty or shift managers, or people-handling roles.
• A passion for learning and a drive to change careers.
• An HR qualification is ideal but not critical if HR principles are understood.

Required skills

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure.
