HR Officer

About the role

We are looking for an HR Officer to join Iluka Resources’ People team in Perth. The role focuses on delivering a seamless employee experience by managing HR processes, supporting staff throughout the employee life‑cycle and ensuring data accuracy in our People systems.

Key responsibilities

• Handle employee queries and requests via ServiceNow and Workday.
• Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers and terminations, securing required approvals.
• Generate employment change letters and prepare offer letters for new hires.
• Onboard new employees and maintain organisational and position data in Workday.
• Create and distribute reports using Excel.
• Build professional relationships with internal stakeholders to provide accurate and timely HR services.
• Regularly audit Workday data for validity and compliance.
• Coordinate relocation assistance for new and existing staff.

Required profile

• Knowledge of People systems, specifically Workday and ServiceNow.
• Qualifications in Human Resources or currently studying HR.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving ability and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, changing environment.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on outcomes.
• Desirable experience in mining, construction or resources and understanding of employment law.
