HR Manager – Talent Acquisition & People Operations

About the role

Teoh Capital is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead talent acquisition and people operations across its portfolio of high‑growth software and AI businesses. Based in Sydney with a hybrid work model, the role supports both Australian operations and international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for multiple portfolio companies, primarily in Australia.
• Partner with hiring managers to define workforce needs and develop hiring strategies.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, job boards, agencies, networking and direct outreach.
• Screen applications, conduct interviews, coordinate assessments and manage selection processes.
• Prepare offers, contracts and onboarding documentation; deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Drive employer branding and candidate engagement initiatives.
• Monitor recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill, quality of hire, cost‑per‑hire and pipeline health.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance to managers and employees across the portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements and National Employment Standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR manager with a strong focus on talent acquisition.
• Ability to manage full recruitment cycles and partner with business leaders on workforce planning.
• Knowledge of Australian employment law and best practice HR processes.
• Experience supporting international teams and scaling HR practices in fast‑growth environments.
