HR Manager – Sydney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to serve as the primary HR partner for the Fendi Australia team. Based in our Sydney head office, you will support business growth, shape talent strategies and help build a high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main HR contact for all people‑related matters and partner with leaders on workforce planning, structure and efficiency.
• Design, deliver and monitor HR and talent initiatives, including employee engagement, employer branding and talent attraction.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to off‑boarding and manage compensation and benefits planning.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning and career development programmes, and support regional talent mapping.
• Manage the HR budget, forecasting and provide guidance on employee relations and organisational development.
• Use HR data and insights to inform business decisions and drive cross‑functional projects that improve outcomes.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of HR experience, preferably in the retail sector.
• Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused business partner who is adaptable, resilient and comfortable driving change.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
