HR Manager

About the role

As the HR Manager for Gameloft’s Brisbane studio, you will support over 120 professionals across multiple game development teams. You’ll act as a trusted partner to studio leadership, shaping people strategies that drive performance, engagement and long‑term growth in a fast‑moving creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with studio leadership to define and execute people strategies aligned with business goals.
• Coach managers on talent acquisition, development, leadership, team effectiveness and organisational design.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and performance initiatives, including localisation of global HR programmes such as performance and salary reviews.
• Provide expert guidance on HR policies, data reporting, employment law, performance management, pay and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning, inclusion and innovation.
• Support talent development, succession planning and career growth frameworks.
• Build relationships with industry bodies and local stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or manager in a medium‑to‑large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and Modern Awards.
• Ability to translate global HR initiatives into practical local actions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior leaders.
• Track record of delivering HR programmes that improve engagement and performance.
