HR Business Partner – Mining Site (DIDO)

About the role

This position is a site‑based HR Business Partner role supporting a high‑volume mining operation on a Drive‑In Drive‑Out (DIDO) roster. Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will act as a trusted advisor to site leadership, helping to build a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a large caseload of employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance issues and dispute resolution.
• Provide clear, practical advice to leaders to ensure fair and consistent outcomes.
• Coach and develop line managers to strengthen people‑leadership capability.
• Partner with site leadership to drive cultural improvement and positive workforce behaviours.
• Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Support broader HR initiatives aligned with operational priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
• Strong expertise in employee relations and handling high‑volume cases.
• Confident coach with influencing skills and a solutions‑focused mindset.
• Resilient, pragmatic and able to work collaboratively with both site and Perth‑based HR teams.
• Prior DIDO/FIFO exposure preferred; experience in mining, construction or heavy industry required.
