HR Advisor

About the role

Join Halliwell as an HR Advisor and become the trusted first point of contact for employees and leaders across APAC. You will support the full employee lifecycle and help deliver people initiatives that enhance both employee experience and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR advice to employees and managers.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee movements and off‑boarding processes.
• Assist with performance, conduct and other employee relations matters.
• Prepare employment contracts, variations and other employee documentation.
• Support engagement, development and people programs.
• Coordinate and lead HR projects and process improvements.
• Maintain HR records, systems and people reporting.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• Experience in professional services or a similar environment is highly regarded.
• Ability to work autonomously across employee‑lifecycle activities and provide HR advice.
• Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation (knowledge of New Zealand legislation is a plus).
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Practical, solutions‑focused approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
