HR Advisor

About the role

This position is for an HR Advisor joining a high‑performing People & Culture team supporting multiple operational sites in the Riverland region of South Australia. The role partners closely with business leaders to provide advice on employee relations, performance management and union‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to managers on employee relations and people matters.
• Assist with performance management conversations and conduct workplace investigations.
• Support leaders operating in unionised and EBA‑covered environments.
• Attend meetings, document outcomes and ensure appropriate follow‑up actions.
• Contribute to HR projects, initiatives and continuous‑improvement activities.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across multiple sites through regular travel.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a generalist HR Advisor or HR Officer.
• Exposure to employee relations, performance management and workplace issues.
• Understanding of Enterprise Agreements and unionised work environments.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to partner with operational leaders.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude with a genuine interest in developing an HR career.
