HR Advisor

About the role

Red Energy is looking for an HR Advisor to join its People and Performance team. This full‑time, permanent position offers a fast‑paced, frontline consulting experience within the utilities sector, supporting over one million customers across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to internal customers on all people and employment matters.
• Coach leaders on handling performance, conduct, long‑term absence, and health issues.
• Prepare remuneration recommendations and support performance and remuneration cycles.
• Support cultural initiatives such as diversity & inclusion, safety, people engagement, and mental‑health programs.
• Apply policies and frameworks to balance business risk with agility while ensuring legal compliance.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of practical, generalist HR or employee‑relations experience (contact‑centre or retail experience preferred).
• Relevant degree or diploma in HR management or a related field.
• Solid understanding of performance‑management systems and ability to generate compliant solutions quickly.
• Strong relationship‑management skills with a focus on delivering an exceptional internal stakeholder experience.
• High energy, positive mindset, and willingness to learn across all HR functions.
