HR Advisor (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Airnorth is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide 12‑month maternity‑leave coverage for its Corporate Services team. The role is based in either the Darwin or Perth (Burswood) office and reports to the General Manager, Corporate Services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate HR generalist support to managers and employees.
• Interpret and apply employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Provide guidance on policy compliance and HR best practices.
• Prepare reports, draft communications and maintain confidential records.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Services team to ensure seamless HR operations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in HR.
• Tertiary education in HR or a related field (desired, not essential).
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• High level of confidentiality, probity and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload and contribute to a team environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
