Housekeeping Quality Manager

About the role

Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, a Sofitel property with 296 rooms and suites, two bars, a restaurant, pools and event spaces, is looking for a Housekeeping Quality Manager. You will lead the development and continuous improvement of housekeeping SOPs, run quality inspections and audits, and work with the Executive Housekeeper and department leaders to uphold brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve Housekeeping SOPs aligned with Sofitel brand standards.
• Carry out routine and ad-hoc quality inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Lead quality assurance and LQA auditing, with regular inspections, coaching and follow-up across all shifts.
• Analyse housekeeping processes to improve efficiency, quality outcomes and operational costs.
• Work with the Executive Housekeeper, department leaders, contractors and suppliers to maintain consistent standards.
• Coordinate team briefings, support daily workflow and task allocation, and foster accountability and collaboration.
• Develop and deliver training on brand standards, presentation, hygiene, chemical handling and workplace safety, and support performance reviews.
• Monitor audit results, guest feedback and cleanliness satisfaction metrics using HubOS, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports and compliance documentation, and promote workplace health and safety and the Accor InterREACT programme.

Required profile

• Experience in housekeeping operations, quality assurance or a similar role in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong understanding of luxury housekeeping standards, room presentation and quality control.
• Knowledge of quality auditing and LQA standards, able to turn audit findings into practical improvements.
• Ability to coach, train and support team members.
• Attention to detail, strong organisation and communication skills, and a luxury attitude aligned with Sofitel's values.
• Full Australian working rights required; flexibility to work according to the hotel's operational needs.
