Housekeeping All Rounder

About the role

Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, a tropical resort in the heart of Cairns with a lagoon-style pool and sandy beach, is looking for a Housekeeping All Rounder. The role is hands-on and fits someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in their work and wants to see the daily impact of what they do. You will work across different parts of the Housekeeping team to make sure guest rooms are beautifully presented and ready for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms and housekeeping areas to a high standard
• Prepare rooms with care, ensuring comfort, presentation and attention to detail
• Replenish linen, amenities and in-room supplies
• Report maintenance issues and manage lost property appropriately
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain consistent guest standards

Required profile

• Positive attitude and genuine pride in your work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team
• Physically capable of performing active duties throughout your shift
• Reliable and flexible availability across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
