House Person – Casual

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented House Person to join our hotel team on a casual basis. In this hands‑on position you will support both housekeeping and public‑area operations, helping to keep the property clean, well‑stocked, and ready for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Order, receive, and store linen and housekeeping supplies.
• Stock and maintain pantries on guest floors.
• Conduct regular stock takes and manage inventory levels.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and clean upholstery and soft furnishings.
• Handle general rubbish removal and waste management.
• Put away incoming deliveries and supplies.
• Prepare bedding and amenities for upcoming bookings.
• Provide ad‑hoc assistance to housekeeping and maintenance teams as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit, capable of lifting and moving items; role involves heavy lifting.
• Proactive, helpful attitude toward supporting multiple departments.
• Prior experience in a hotel or housekeeping role is desirable but not essential.
