Hospitality Finance & Operations Manager

About the role

The George on Collins, part of the Kahan Group, is looking for an experienced finance professional who understands hospitality operations. You will support multiple high‑volume venues, events and entertainment businesses by building real‑time reporting systems and reducing administrative burden for venue managers and directors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly P&L, cash‑flow and creditor reports with accurate financial visibility.
• Oversee payables, invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Produce weekly labour and COGS reporting.
• Integrate and manage hospitality systems across venues.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improved processes.
• Support venue management with financial accountability and decision‑making.
• Lead projects to minimise manual admin work.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Collaborate with ownership on strategic finance projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of hospitality finance or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of venue operations and fast‑paced hospitality environments.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
