Hospitality Assistant

About the role

The Hospitality Assistant provides essential support to Eldercare’s aged‑care teams by ensuring clean living spaces and delivering nutritious, home‑style meals. This hands‑on position combines cleaning, food preparation, and resident interaction to enhance daily life for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of resident rooms, communal areas, kitchens, bathrooms and laundry facilities.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products and safely handle chemicals.
• Assist with the preparation, serving and presentation of nutritious meals and beverages according to site menus and resident care plans.
• Carry out dishwashing, kitchen cleaning and maintain hygiene standards.
• Support teammates by covering shifts and back‑filling as needed.

Required profile

• Previous aged‑care or health‑care experience (preferred but not mandatory).
• Cheerful, can‑do attitude with strong communication skills.
• Pride in personal presentation and work quality.
• Flexibility to assist with shift coverage.
• Genuine desire to care for others.
