Home Economics Assistant

About the role
The Home Economics Assistant supports teachers in delivering a range of Home Economics programmes and helps ensure a safe, well‑equipped learning environment for students.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the teacher with lesson delivery for courses such as Caring for Children, Children Family & Community, and Barista Skills.
- Prepare and maintain equipment, materials and resources for classes, displays, demonstrations and activities.
- Ensure all items are stored safely and appropriately after use.
- Support safe and hygienic food preparation practices.
- Maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels and submit requisitions for approval.
- Carry out regular cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed.
