Home Care Scheduler

About the role

St Vincent's Health Australia is looking for a Home Care Scheduler to join its team at the Heathcote Aged Care facility. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday during standard office hours. The role sits alongside other departments within care services and focuses on helping clients with a strong person-centred care approach.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule staff within a community or facility setting
• Ensure services are delivered promptly and accurately
• Follow directives according to the care plan and the coordinator's instructions
• Assist with administrative tasks as required

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar role scheduling staff within a community or facility
• High level of customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress role
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities
• National Police Certificate issued within the last 6 months; NDIS worker screening check may be required
• Certificate or diploma in Business, Frontline Management or Scheduling is desirable but not essential

Required skills

• Experience with scheduling and attendance systems (Procurra, Kronos and Workday desirable)
