Heavy Plant Operator - Grader (Permanent)

About the role

Warren Shire Council is inviting applications for a Heavy Plant Operator (Grader) within its Engineering Operations Department, working with the Road Construction and Maintenance Crew. This is a full-time permanent position.

Required profile

• Class LR driver's licence or above
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Ability to undertake extensive overtime and to work under the Extended Flexible Working Hours agreement for road work teams
• Pre-employment medical assessment required before confirmation of employment

Desirable qualifications

• Plant operation course
• Supervisor's course
• Civil Construction (Plant) Certificate III
• First Aid certificate
• Traffic control

What we offer

• Salary range of $1237.70 to $1435.73 per week plus allowances
• 12% superannuation
• Flexitime with a 38-hour week (9-day fortnight)
• Leave provisions as per the Local Government (State) Award
