Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager

About the role

ING is looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to lead psychosocial risk and hazard management across its corporate workforce. The role will partner with senior leaders to embed a safe, healthy and high‑performing culture while overseeing supplier and contractor safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and mature the Health, Safety & Wellbeing framework, management systems and governance practices.
• Drive psychosocial risk assessments, control design, monitoring, reporting and enterprise‑wide wellbeing initiatives.
• Partner with senior executives to strengthen accountability and embed a positive safety culture.
• Oversee workers’ compensation and injury management programmes.
• Manage health and safety risks associated with third‑party suppliers and contractors.

Required profile

• Experience managing health and safety risks in a corporate office environment, including oversight of higher‑risk contractor activities.
• Demonstrated expertise in psychosocial risk management, hazard identification, risk assessments and employee wellbeing programmes.
• Proven capability in safety governance, compliance frameworks and health & safety management systems.
• Strong track record of influencing senior executives and stakeholders in large, complex organisations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of psychosocial risk management and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience with health & safety governance, policy development and risk‑based safety management.
