About the role
The Head Teacher of Plumbing will lead experienced TAFE teachers and inspire the next generation of plumbing students at the Wollongbar campus.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of vocational teachers.
- Design and deliver high‑quality plumbing curriculum aligned with industry standards.
- Support students in building skills, qualifications and employability.
Required profile
- Hold at least a Certificate III and Certificate IV in Plumbing (or equivalent).
- Minimum five years recent industry experience in plumbing.
- Relevant teaching qualification for VET and commitment to obtain AQF Level 5 or higher within 18 months.
Required skills
- Plumbing technical expertise.
- Ability to assess and train apprentices/trainees.
