About the role
Wooden Horse is seeking an experienced Head of Production to oversee its slate of scripted television projects across development, financing, production and delivery. This senior, hands‑on role works closely with the joint CEOs to ensure productions run smoothly and on budget.
Key responsibilities
- Manage budgets, schedules, crewing and resourcing for multiple scripted series.
- Oversee production planning, risk management, audits, acquittals and wrap processes.
- Liaise with broadcasters, funding bodies and senior leadership to align commercial and creative objectives.
Required profile
- Significant experience in scripted television production, either as a Head of Production or senior Production Executive.
- Proven track record in line producing, production management or production finance with strong commercial judgement.
Required skills
- Advanced budgeting using Movie Magic or A‑Z budgeting software.
- Excellent knowledge of production systems, audits and financial acquittals.
