Head of Product Platform - AI & Data

About the role

As Head of Product Platform – AI & Data you will lead the strategy, roadmap and delivery of Zurich’s enterprise AI and Data platforms. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer you will shape capabilities that enable teams to scale AI and data solutions securely, responsibly and effectively, turning technology investment into reusable value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the AI and Data platform strategy, technical roadmaps and investment priorities, balancing innovation with resilience and sustainability.
• Provide AI and Data product squads with scalable, self‑service capabilities, patterns, controls and accelerators.
• Drive evolution of the AI platform, including AWS and AgentCore adoption, responsible AI controls, model governance and scalable deployment.
• Lead the evolution of the Data platform, covering Snowflake, DataOps standards, batch and real‑time capabilities and migration from legacy warehouses.
• Build and develop two dedicated platform teams, fostering engineering maturity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strategic, pragmatic leader comfortable moving between product thinking, technology and delivery.
• Proven leadership experience across AI, Data, analytics or platform engineering at enterprise scale.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence priorities across engineering, product, business and executive stakeholders.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with AWS and modern AI technologies (Generative AI, Agentic AI).
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake, DataOps, MLOps, dbt and observability tools.
• Expertise in modern data architecture, cloud‑native services and responsible AI governance.
