Head of Manufacturing / Plant Manager – Western Sydney

About the role

This senior position provides full operational ownership of a flagship manufacturing site in Western Sydney. You will lead a high‑performing team, drive Lean transformation and ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery excellence in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end accountability for manufacturing and site operations, covering production performance, cost, quality and delivery.
• Leadership of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) across the site.
• Oversight of maintenance and facilities management.
• Implementation of continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Development and capability building for the operations leadership team.
• Driving operational standards through a visible, floor‑based leadership style.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background (preferred).
• Experience in complex manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record implementing Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Exposure to organisations that have undergone acquisition, consolidation or transformation.
• Strong people‑leadership experience within an Australian operational context.
• Commercial awareness and full operational ownership capability.
• High energy, resilience and a hands‑on leadership style.
