Head of Finance

About the role

As Head of Finance at Askable, you will lead the financial function of a fast‑growing SaaS company based in Brisbane. Reporting to the COO, you will build and optimise the frameworks that support our global operations and rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Analyse SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, GRR, churn and ACV.
• Develop financial models to identify growth opportunities.
• Design and implement scalable accounting systems for global operations.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors and lead the R&D tax credit program.
• Optimise treasury practices, manage cash and investments.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a high‑growth technology or SaaS environment.
• Strong track record of building finance processes and leading teams.
