Head of Commercial – ANZ

About the role

Opella is seeking a senior commercial leader to shape and execute its go‑to‑market strategy across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the General Manager – ANZ, you will drive revenue growth for the Opella Healthcare portfolio across multiple retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the sales organisation to achieve short‑ and long‑term revenue and profit targets across pharmacy, grocery, convenience, e‑commerce, discount retail and selected export markets.
• Develop and implement a multi‑channel commercial strategy, including Revenue Growth Management and Joint Business Planning.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and commercial reports for local and regional leadership.
• Provide sales forecasting and commercial insights to support strategic decision‑making and revenue optimisation.
• Collaborate closely with Brand & Innovation, Performance Analytics, Science Affairs, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Finance, People & Culture, Communications and Legal teams.
• Manage complex stakeholder relationships with a solution‑oriented mindset.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or consumer goods.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute multi‑channel sales strategies.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• High emotional intelligence and pragmatic problem‑solving approach.
