Head of Architecture

About the role

Endava Australia is looking for a senior, client‑facing architecture leader to shape and win complex technology engagements. The role blends pre‑sales advisory, solution design, delivery mobilisation and capability building across the Australian market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture input during discovery, qualification, proposal development and solution strategy.
• Partner with Client Partners, Sales and Delivery leads to craft credible, commercially realistic technical solutions.
• Translate client goals and constraints into practical architecture options, trade‑offs and delivery‑ready designs.
• Coach and mentor architects, strengthen architectural standards, and drive quality reviews.
• Create practical processes that embed architecture into sales, delivery and engineering leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior architecture or technology leadership role, preferably within a consulting environment.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to influence senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on, market‑facing mindset with a track record of shaping and winning technology work.
• Passion for building architecture capability through coaching, standards and community development.
