About the role

The Royal Oak, a historic North Adelaide hotel known for its beer garden, live entertainment and mix of pub classics and creative dishes, is looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen. The role suits someone who wants to command the kitchen, work closely with the Publican and front-of-house team and build a high-performing kitchen.

Key responsibilities

Run the kitchen smoothly, safely and profitably
Work closely with the Publican and front-of-house team
Build and develop a high-performing kitchen team
Maintain strong communication between the kitchen and front of house

Required profile

Trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications
Experience, confidence and pride in owning the kitchen
Ability to handle and lift stock, kegs and deliveries safely and efficiently
