Guest Services Supervisor – At Your Service

About the role

The At Your Service Guest Relations Supervisor leads the Guest Services team at Sheraton Port Douglas, ensuring every guest enjoys a personalised and memorable stay. You will act as the bridge between guests, the hotel, and the local community, delivering high‑quality service and supporting your team in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Guest Services team, assigning rooms according to guest preferences and handling general enquiries.
• Provide expert knowledge of the hotel and surrounding area to exceed guest expectations.
• Verify and adjust guest billing, responding promptly to questions and requests.
• Build strong relationships with new and returning guests through thoughtful, tailored experiences.
• Monitor service standards, identify improvement opportunities, and implement initiatives.
• Lead team‑building activities and foster a supportive, growth‑focused environment.
• Escalate issues when necessary while maintaining a confident and welcoming presence.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in a hotel or similar hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with the OPERA property management system or a comparable PMS.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Enthusiastic about career progression and self‑motivated in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude.
