Guest Service Agent

About the role

As a Guest Service Agent at Mercure Perth, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay from check‑in to check‑out. You will work in a dynamic, 7‑day roster environment, collaborating with multiple departments to deliver exceptional hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest arrivals and departures with warmth and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, maintaining a high level of satisfaction.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other teams to fulfill guest needs.
• Resolve issues creatively and positively, turning challenges into positive experiences.
• Promote the Accor Live Limitless loyalty program and its benefits.
• Work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and nights as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a guest‑facing hospitality role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time‑management abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks.
• Interpersonal skills that enable easy connection with team members and guests.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to upsell and enhance guest experiences.
• Professional appearance and a genuinely positive attitude.

Required skills

• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
• C Class Driver’s Licence.
