Guest Service Agent – Front Office & Night Audit

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Guest Service Agents to join the Front Office team at Holiday Inn Sydney St Marys. The role combines front‑desk duties with night‑audit responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations from guest arrival to departure. You will work on a rotating roster that includes mornings, afternoons, weekends and occasional overnight shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform guest check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently.
• Manage reservations, enquiries and special guest requests.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service throughout all guest interactions.
• Execute night‑audit procedures, including daily reporting and end‑of‑day reconciliations.
• Balance cash transactions and maintain accurate accounts.
• Support hotel safety and security protocols.
• Collaborate with hotel and Club operations teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel front office or guest service.
• Night audit experience is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Positive, professional attitude toward guest service.
• Current RSA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexibility to work a roster that includes weekends and occasional overnight shifts.

Required skills

• Familiarity with IHG systems or comparable hotel property management software.
