About the role
Join the Front Office team at Crystalbrook Flynn and be the first point of contact for guests in a vibrant, modern hotel located in the heart of Cairns CBD. As a Guest Service Agent you will create welcoming first impressions, manage arrivals and departures, and ensure each stay feels seamless and memorable.
Key responsibilities
- Perform check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently using the property management system.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and special needs.
- Provide local knowledge and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain accurate guest records and handle cash or credit transactions securely.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to resolve issues.
Required profile
- Warm, professional demeanor with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work a rotating 7‑day roster, including evenings and overnight shifts.
- Willingness to learn about Cairns and its surroundings.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Required skills
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience with Opera PMS (preferred).
