Guest Service Agent – Front Office (Full‑time)

About the role

The Guest Service Agent is the welcoming face of the JW Marriott in Surfers Paradise. You will manage guest arrivals and departures, handle inquiries, and ensure a seamless, memorable experience from reservation to checkout.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs, confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue key cards.
• Handle all payment methods—including cash, checks, debit, and credit—in line with accounting policies.
• Answer and record guest calls, messages, and requests, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments.
• Provide guests with information about the property, local attractions, and parking procedures.
• Run daily arrival/departure reports, verify special requests, and complete cashier and closing reports.
• Balance cash drawers, count bank at shift start/end, and follow cash‑handling procedures.

Required profile

• Currently studying or completed a hospitality‑related course (preferred).
• Previous experience in front‑office operations within a hotel environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for guest interaction and inter‑departmental liaison.
