Group Resilience and Risk Manager

About the role

Metcash is looking for a Group Resilience and Risk Manager to help shape the future of enterprise risk, resilience and business continuity across its diverse national business. Working closely with senior leaders, the role influences strategic decisions, strengthens governance and prepares the organisation for an evolving risk landscape. The position is based in Macquarie Park and is listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the ongoing development of Metcash's Enterprise Risk Management and Business Resilience Frameworks.
• Partner with business leaders to identify, assess and manage strategic and operational risks.
• Deliver risk reporting and insights to senior leadership, governance committees and the Board.
• Lead business continuity, crisis management and operational resilience initiatives.
• Oversee and lead Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) risk management obligations.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide risk leadership across the business.

Required profile

• Experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Audit or a related discipline.
• Experience working within a regulated or complex corporate environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to solve complex business challenges.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of risk, governance and assurance frameworks.
• Strong communication and executive reporting capability.
