Group Financial Accountant

About the role

SUBCO is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to lead intercompany accounting and group consolidation as the business expands across the Indo‑Pacific. You will ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions, preparing consolidated statements and supporting statutory and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the intercompany accounting framework, managing transactions, reconciliations and balance eliminations.
• Prepare group consolidated financial statements for key reporting jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain consolidation models and elimination entries.
• Coordinate with external auditors, prepare audit schedules and support the audit process.
• Prepare statutory compliance reporting and financial analysis for management.
• Maintain Wiise ERP system data integrity and configurations.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or Commerce with CPA or CA.
• Strong reporting and compliance background, experience in statutory financial statement preparation.
• Experience in a group or consolidated reporting environment across multiple entities.
• Understanding of intercompany accounting, elimination entries and consolidation principles.
• Big 4 or mid‑tier audit firm experience (preferred).
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
