Graduate Quality Engineer

About the role
We are looking for a proactive, detail‑driven Graduate Quality Engineer to join our Aftersales team. Reporting to the Aftersales Team Leader, you will support product quality at our Customer Repair Centre, ensuring inspection standards are applied consistently and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct product inspections according to established quality criteria and procedures.
- Develop and improve inspection and test procedures for new and existing products.
- Identify, document and report product defects, non‑conformities and deviations.
- Monitor inspection trends and quality metrics to support improvement initiatives.
- Compile, analyse and assist with reporting of quality data and performance metrics.
- Train and up‑skill team members in inspection, testing and diagnostic procedures.
- Support root‑cause analysis and contribute to corrective and preventative actions.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering and global stakeholders, including offshore teams.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Participate in calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and promote safe working practices.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality inspection, quality control or a related engineering environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently identify issues and non‑conformances.
- Proven analytical skills for interpreting inspection data and identifying trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working across multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ISO standards and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with root‑cause analysis and corrective‑preventive actions.
- Calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems such as motors, gears and bearings.
- Understanding of power tools and consumer product testing.
