Graduate Accountant – Balcatta

About the role

Join Five Group as a Graduate Accountant in Balcatta, WA. You will work closely with the Accountant and occasionally the CFO, gaining hands‑on experience across the full spectrum of accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end reporting, including balance‑sheet reconciliations and management reports.
• Manage tax obligations such as PAYG, payroll tax, quarterly FBT and BAS.
• Process daily bank and credit‑card reconciliations and maintain the fixed‑asset register.
• Support accounts payable and receivable, including data entry, payments, invoicing and client queries.
• Assist payroll operations and act as backup for payroll‑related duties.
• Maintain internal control systems and contribute to the selection and implementation of accounting software.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification with 2‑3 years of Australian accounting experience.
• Working towards CPA or CA certification.
• High attention to detail, strong time‑management and workflow skills.
• Professional, honest and able to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
