Grader Operator – Iron Bridge Mine

About the role

Thiess is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join its Production Mining team at Iron Bridge Mine. You will operate CAT 16 and 24M graders in a FIFO environment, contributing to safe and efficient mine production while enjoying modern camp facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CAT 16 and 24M graders efficiently, safely and competently to maximise output.
• Maintain floor levels, stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure smooth material flow.
• Minimise dilution and achieve design parameters within acceptable tolerances.
• Carry out pre‑start checks and adhere to Thiess policies, procedures and health‑safety standards.
• Respond to instructions from the Mining Supervisor and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience operating CAT 16 or 24M graders in a mining production environment.
• Strong understanding of ore mark‑ups, pit configuration and floor/bund maintenance.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
