GPS Excavator Operator – Civil Projects, Northern Brisbane

About the role

An established civil construction contractor delivering subdivision, road and earthworks projects across Queensland is seeking an experienced GPS Excavator Operator to take a lead role on site in Northern Brisbane. The operator completes high-accuracy excavation and final trim works. The position is casual, based in Joyner, with immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 14T excavator as the lead operator
• Complete GPS and final trim excavation works
• Perform battering, trimming and deep excavations
• Complete shoring box works and bench trenches to industry standards
• Operate safely around services, machinery and site personnel

Required profile

• Excavator RII competency
• Construction White Card and current driver's licence
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience as a competent lead excavator operator
• Strong GPS, final trim, battering and deep excavation experience
• Reliable, safety focused and confident working within a team environment
