Governance & Reporting Assurance Manager

About the role

The Divisional Governance & Reporting Assurance Manager supports the team lead in delivering high‑quality reporting, insights and risk oversight for the Retail Division. The role ensures data accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements and helps strengthen the non‑financial risk and control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse non‑financial risk (NFR) data to generate insights and support governance reporting.
• Validate data quality and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Monitor and improve data quality within the NFR Hub for the Retail Division.
• Produce and present NFR insights to divisional and group committees.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce risk exposure and strengthen control frameworks.
• Standardise reporting across RMFs and develop supporting tools/models.
• Support key initiatives (PACT, ASIC matters, Single Customer Front End, Suncorp Bank integration) and regulatory attestations (ACL, CPS220).
• Assist with ASIC Responsible Manager oversight and provide risk advisory support.

Required profile

• Strong quality‑assurance mindset with rigorous testing practices.
• Proficiency in risk management and data‑insight visualisation tools.
• Ability to translate quantitative and qualitative information into clear narratives and visual formats.
• Experience defining, planning and executing data‑quality testing for NFR initiatives.
• Proven capability to work collaboratively across business and risk functions.
