About the role
Troocoo is partnering with a well-established, fast-growing Australian organisation to appoint a Governance Manager within its product division, based in the CBD and inner suburbs of Brisbane. - Partner with the second line to respond to regulatory change and anticipate future changes.
- Set the documentation strategy, including a document hierarchy aligned to the group policy framework.
- Lead the drafting, review and approval of product and pricing policies and procedures, and close gaps in existing documentation.
- Manage committee charters and terms of reference, and support governance forums with accurate papers and decision tracking.
- Keep policies and procedures current through review cycles and approvals, and embed operational controls and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to a programme improving the quality of writing, especially for board and committee papers, and build stakeholder relationships.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, law or a related field.
- Around five years of experience in operational governance, compliance or technical writing, including leadership experience, ideally in insurance or financial services.
- Proven experience drafting and managing product and pricing policies and procedures.
- Experience maintaining committee charters and supporting governance forums.
- Solid understanding of governance frameworks, regulatory compliance and internal control environments.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to learn how a division operates quickly.
- Experience in an operational product or pricing role is advantageous.
What we offer
- A visible role shaping governance across a growing division.
- A high-performance, high-integrity culture with development opportunities and job security.
- A permanent position with a direct report.
