General Practitioner - VR (Locum and Permanent)

About the role

A doctor-owned, non-corporate bulk-billing DPA clinic in the well-established north-western suburbs of Melbourne is looking for a locum GP (VR or non-VR) from late October 2026 to mid-January 2027 (2-10 weeks) and also a permanent GP (VR or non-VR). The clinic has strong patient demand and positive feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general practice care in a busy, high-volume clinic with a large established patient base.
• Work in a doctor-owned practice with a dedicated GP team, full nursing support, onsite pathology and nearby allied health.
• Locum GP: ideally a minimum of four days per week, eight-hour days across two sessions.
• Permanent GP: choose part-time or full-time.

Required profile

• Vocational registration with FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent.
• Current AHPRA registration.

What we offer

• Locum GP: 70% of bulk billings or $240 per hour, whichever is greater; flexible 2-12 week terms.
• Permanent GP: 70% of bulk billings or $220 per hour, whichever is greater; part-time or full-time.
• Gross billings average $2,500-$3,500 per day, up to $4,000-$5,000 for top GPs.
• Substantial clinical exposure and experienced GP and nursing team support.
