About the role
St Jude's Health Care Group, which provides aged care, allied health and disability services, is hiring a Gardener for its Bethania Gardens facility in Bethania. The role provides quality gardening services to the facility and its surrounding grounds, helping create a homely environment for the residents. It is a permanent full-time position working 0800-1600, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain garden beds and pot plants, including planting and fertilising and aerating lawns
- Trim and prune trees
- Clean windows, entrances and exits and the car park
- Contribute to a positive customer service experience for the residents
Required profile
- Significant gardening experience and a natural love of the outdoors
- Willingness to go above and beyond to help the facility and to please the residents
- Ideally a Certificate in Horticulture or similar qualification (not essential)
- NDIS clearance, right to work in Australia and a valid driver's licence
