Functional Tester – Data Migration & Integration

About the role

Coforge is looking for a proactive Functional Tester to own and lead end‑to‑end testing for data migration and integration projects. The role requires strong hands‑on experience with API and event‑driven testing, as well as solid domain knowledge in payment and retail.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead test strategy, planning and execution for E2E testing.
• Coordinate testing activities across developers, data engineers, functional consultants and business stakeholders.
• Validate data quality, accuracy and completeness after migration through thorough reconciliation.
• Perform integration testing with upstream and downstream systems.
• Lead UAT coordination, issue triage and sign‑off processes.
• Build and maintain QA metrics such as requirement traceability, defect status and test case progress.
• Collaborate with PMs and business analysts to ensure testable and complete requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex data integration testing, including mapping, transformation and validation.
• Excellent coordination, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
