About the role
CGI is expanding its Software & Digital Engineering capability to support Defence digital delivery opportunities in Canberra. The role involves designing, developing, enhancing and sustaining secure enterprise web applications for Defence and national security outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Full‑stack development using Angular, TypeScript and related web technologies.
- Develop and enhance enterprise web applications, user interfaces, backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Maintain, remediate and modernise existing applications, applying secure software development practices and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Participate in Agile delivery teams, conduct code reviews, write technical documentation and contribute to testing and quality assurance.
Required profile
- Commercial experience developing enterprise web applications with Angular and TypeScript.
- Full‑stack development experience, including frontend and backend technologies.
- Proficiency with RESTful API integration, CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
